Endowment: How you can participate in the
Foundation for World Education's work
Financially the Foundation supports grant requests through the dividends and interests
received on the original estate given by Eleanor Montgomery. Jerry
Schwartz, FWE treasurer, has managed these investments since 1990.
It has been through his guidance that we have organized and maintained
this amount of giving over the last fifteen years.
Since grant requests keep growing each year and we wish to be
of service to as many people as we can, our goal is to expand
our capacity to fund projects related to Sri Aurobindo and Mother's
vision by increasing the endowment fund. Our hope is to increase
our efforts through devotees who contribute to the investment
we have begun.
The board encourages donations, bequests, long-term giving, and
tax-advantaged estate planning. FWE is a 501(C3) not-for-profit
foundation, and your contributions may be partially or fully tax
deductible for income or estate taxes. We would be happy to work
with contributors to build a plan for giving to the Foundation
for World Education.
If
you wish to participate, write to Paula Murphy, Secretary, Foundation
for World Education, 303, 26th Pl. North, La Crosse, WI 54601; or send
email to pmurphy@gundluth.org
