Bahman A. K. Shirazi

Bahman A. K. Shirazi is a member of the Sri Aurobindo Association’s Editorial Advisory Board.

Bahman was introduced to the works of Sri Aurobindo and the Mother over three decades ago through the California Institute of Integral Studies, where he has studied and worked since the 1980s. Through the teachings of CIIS founder Dr. Haridas Chaudhuri, who brought Sri Aurobindo’s teachings to the West, he discovered Integral Psychology and Integral Yoga, which have provided the inspiration and guidance for his spiritual path ever since.

Bahman has traveled to Pondicherry and Auroville many times in the past two decades and has met many kindred souls on the path who have enriched his experience of Integral Yoga.
