ASHRAM MAIN BUILDING 

This is the compound where Sri Aurobindo and the Mother lived. Today in its central courtyard, under the shade of a large Service tree, lies the Samadhi, where their bodies are laid to rest. 
Visiting hours: 8-12 noon and 2-6 pm.
The Reception Service, Photo Section, and Publication Department are located within the compound and are open daily during the visiting hours.

COLLECTIVE MEDITATION (in the evening)

In the Ashram: Mon, Tue, Wed, Fri : 7.25-7.50 pm 
In the Playground: Thu, Sun : 7.40-8.15 pm 

BUREAU CENTRAL

Open daily 6 am-8 pm. An exhibition on Sri Aurobindo and the Mother introduces their life and yoga through their own writings. Video programmes on the Ashram are also shown.

ASHRAM LIBRARY

Open daily 7.30-11.30 am; 2-4.45pm. Recorded classical music is played thrice a week from 8.30-9.30 pm: Tuesday and Friday (Western), Wednesday (Indian).

ART GALLERY: An exhibition of paintings by Ashram artists and others. Weekdays: 9-11 am; 3-4 pm. 

CONDUCTED TOURS from Autocare: At 8.15 am to see Ashram and Ashram-related departments, also at 8.15 am to visit important places of Pondicherry, and at 2.00 pm to visit Auroville (Matrimandir).

GATE PASS

Admission to many places in the Ashram is restricted. Please be prepared to show your pass when required.
