After seven years living on a remote mountain farm in the Alps, achieving near self-sufficiency, the call to share those learnings and to participate in a large collective experiment brought him to Auroville. Having learned traditional handicrafts (basket weaving, woodwork, instrument building), herbal medicine, story telling, song writing, home teaching children and leading workshops on sound and consciousness, his focus has shifted in the last years to Nada Yoga (the inner dimensions and mysticism of sound). He is now active in the performing arts (Auroville Dance Company, theatre
work in collaboration with Indian artists, song evenings) and experimental
music, teaching and organising cultural events. He also studies classical
Indian vocal music and researches into tuning and resonance. Linked to
different sound traditions, a constant unfoldment of new discoveries opens
promising doors into a new future -- it's Aurelio's gift to share his unique
path and insights in a simple, joyful and intimate way.
