Don writes: "My name is Don Salmon. I first became aware I was a child of the Mother back in 1975. I have also studied with teachers from several traditions, including Vedanta, Tibetan Buddhism and Sufism. Most of my adult life, I worked as a composer/pianist/teacher, but my life dream has always been to work toward an integration of psychology and spirituality. Toward that end, I began graduate study in psychology in 1990, completing a Masters and now, finally, have almost completed the Doctoral program in Clinical Psychology. I am interested in making a connection between the world of modern psychology and psychotherapy and Sri Aurobindo's Integral Psychology. I live in NYC's East Village, and at the moment, one of my great delights is making a special concoction of pomegranite seeds, yogurt and cinnamon." |
